    Icon7 GeneralMaximus Art Gallery

Well i'm an amature artist and just started with Photoshop. I've worked with Photoshop before but not that much.
I mainly do fantasy and historically based drawings but I tend to draw whatever I feel like. I'm trying to do Concept art looking drawings because they are rather quick and i'm not aiming for perfection
only to learn and get better at drawing the human body, clothes and the like.

Since im not that good most of these will be for my own learning only, so constructive criticism on proportions, lighting and colors is much appreciated! Hope you like it! (Large images)

This one is pretty old and I wasn't to familiar with Photoshop at the time but I thought I'd put it up anyway. It's a Starcraft Marine firing at a Hydralisk

This one was mostly a kind of study of how a face looks while screaming and then I just did some fancy flames around it

Here I tried some techniques I found on youtube and I was very pleased with the result I started it out as a grey scale then added colors on top.

Another test of the same techniques I think this will be my main type of work I really enjoy working this way. On the picure is some kind of Mongol warrior.

Nice work, keep it up, there's lots potential here!

Also, without advertising too much (), you could check the first two parts of my tutorial over in the tutorial section, it might not be the easiest way, since it doesn't involve going greyscale->colour, but looking at different ways of making things will offer more options.

They're really good, but you might want to have a look at how the worker holds the pickaxe, I believe it should be resting on his shoulder.

I like big swords They're also easier to make.

I'm not sure how to make straight lines in a good way using photoshop. The way I work now is freehand trial and error until I get a good-looking line. Any tips would be appreciated

It doesn't have to be entirely straight; although, if you do want a somewhat straight line, I would recommend using short, fast brush strokes.

It's good, but I think the main character of the picture needs more detail, or perhaps just more contrast. The focus of the image seems to lie with the background.
