I can't get a handle on this one, is it a Hitchcock?
We continue with the French cycle. (Although one of the three main characters is Austrian).
I had fun tracking this down, and was frequently distracted and off on tangent searches of movies, photographers, actors and actresses - including Jean Seberg (had to eliminate the obvious ). I now have an amazing file of Haute Couture fashion art photography from Paris in the 1950s including models and photographers I'm continuing to explore - wonderful stuff! I highly recommend checking out Lillian Bassman (New York) if your not already aware of her work.
Back on topic: - Jules et Jim (1962) by Francois Truffaut.
