my money goes on caesar (also known as caizor to some).

alexander was a perfumed greek sissy. when he fought he did it from the back of a horse.

caesar on the other hand was captured by pirates. and not only did he survive but he also hunted down and crucified the lot of them immediately after his release.

im betting on caesar, remember although alexander was younger and more energetic, hes also prone to underestimating caesar. werent the agema hypaspist soldiers in their 70's and 80's when they fought for alexander and the diadochi? why would u keep them around? because they have a lot of experience, A LOT. so although alexander may be faster and younger, caesar would have the battle experience, the roman armor and weapons and famed roman discipline. if u were an officer in ancient rome and u saw a bunch of old, wrinkled men charging towards ur men, u would probably underestimate them and realize ur mistake when 50 of ur soldiers all-of-the-sudden drop dead in under a minute (exaggerating a bit but u get the idea)

Alexander was probably the one of the most luckiest commanders. Ceaser would beat him any day as he both commanded the kind of troops that proved to be more efficient than Greek hoplites and he was a better general and tactician.

By the way, how old are each combatant at the time of the fight? It is strange to insist that Ceasar be in his 40s or 50s and Alexander be in his twenties. They could be any age. equal or Alexander at 33 and Ceasar at 18. No one has specified.
