sniping generals with canons?

anyway you can make the ai general keep out of canon range or stop it from charging into your line?

or just make cannon more inaccurate?

what's wrong with taken out a general,alls fair in war,and the best way to kill a snake is cut of the head and please dont give the "proper way of gentlemen in battle" because when it comes to survival of the fittest it's every man for himself

The problem more is that the artillery are too accurate than the general being targeted. Artillery fire wasn't a precise, selected bombardment, unless precise coordinates were relayed to the artillery officers. Until then, artillery was a blind fire into the enemy lines with hopes of killing something. AI generals avoid artillery quite well (one shot hit the ground around him in one battle, and he sprinted back behind his lines instantly), it's just artillery is so precise that it instantly slaughters the bodyguard.

if it was my mod i'd make the cannon alot more powerful but incredibly inaccurate.

All shots miss but the one that hits was able to make a route that changed the course of the battle,like historically. Also,no more general sniping tooo
