[WEF] An Olive Branch

For the purpose of unification and prosperity for the United States of America, we, The Western States of America, wish to propose an offer of peace and unification of our two nations. Our only term is this: that King Pappas step down from his assumed office and the United States is made into a Republic once more, a Republic without oppression, neither of the aristocratic type, nor of the slave-holding variety. Who in this land of ours will support this offering?

Peace, is something we can favor, sir, but reunification, no. I'm sorry, my good man, but after such a hard earned victory against Confederate forces, we have no will to go back to that which we once were.

Dont worry, the CSA will be reunified soon enough, and "going back the way you were" you mean with freedom and justice for all written into the constituion, or is it allowing someone other than a Pappas to lead the nation

My good man, we DO have freedom! You don't seem to understand that this is not the unlimited monarchy we see in Europe! The king has set priveledges and limitations! He does not have unbridled power! That would be hugely unethical!

Sir I wrote this to show that we are willing to accept peace for a price, however it appears your King simply cannot live while there are freemen where he believes his domain should spread. Also, I do believe George III has his limitations no? yet we still fought a war against him and his tyrannical parliament

How many times must I answer, I remember quite clearly us fighting due to lack of representation, not because we were under monarchy. It was widely proposed we BECOME monarchy after that. The King has given us a mixture of both systems, offering stability and representation.

It was proposed, but wisely it never turned into that. Now all we have done is take a man and parliament 3,000 miles away and brought the same institution 3 miles away. you make these arguments for the purposes of remaining in power on your ill-gained throne.

The whole exchange was directed towards pvtgunny after a PM exchange we've been having. He referred to it as reunification and thus, so did I. End of story.

We concede, the territory is yours, I request a full pardon for my men and I (along with Taylor) and a royal backing to explore your newly aquired land. Also, we humbly request that the territory become something not unlike the NWT.
