Default Magna Mundi - The Game

    Hi!

Just to tell everybody the development of Magna Mundi is going pretty well, and we have now a webpage online.

In fact, tomorrow Johan and Susana will visit Lisbon to plan with me all preparations for the next stage of development and marketing of the game. I am very happy to report this will be one of Paradox MAJOR RELEASES for 2011.

You can check the webpage here:

A very pleasant dinner in Lisbon:

    Closer to farther:

Margarida (Magna Beauty) , Onaikul (Magna Mundi Exchequer & Treasurer), Ubik, Johan, SacredWarrior (Magna Mundi coder), Susana, Exe_cutable (Magna Mundi coder) and Virtual_FM (Magna Mundi 3D artist). A pity the other 16 team members could not attend... due to distance!

    It's starting to look good!

Oh and would that be early or late 2011?

PS: The lack of booze in the above photo disturbs me

Amazing work so far ubik & team! I'm really looking forward to this. I love the graphical style, even of the website... add in all the new gameplay features and it will very likely be one of the best strategy games of 2011.

hi guys, the website looks awesome, the game looks astounding, have been following your progress since the beginning. I am still playing magna mundi the mod with the hair to the throne, immence enjoyment, well said about the game - it deals you the cards and how you play those cards is the way to win.

cant wait for release, a definite buy for me.

one question though, i understand in that period of time there was no Ukraine as a political country, it was always under either Poland, Lithuania or Russia, would it be possible to at least include Zaporozhian host (cossacks) as one province in the game to reflect their role in history?

(from wikipedia: "During the course of the 16th, 17th and well into the 18th centuries the Zaporozhian Cossacks became a strong political and military force that challenged the authority of Poland-Lithuania the Ottoman Empire and its vassal the Crimean Khanate, and the Tsardom of Russia. The Host went through a series of conflicts and alliances involving the three powers before being forcibly disbanded in the late 18th century by the Russian Empire.)

    would be immensely grateful.

thanks and good luck with the release.

    Holy crap that's awesome.

I was just thinking that a game exactly like this one needs to exist.

Now if only the dates went from 300BC to 1815... ha

Thanks very much for the interest and support!

Cossaks will be present as a regional unit type with its own characteristics (troops are defined by some 20 different stats). Don't know about any country, tbh. That's for later evaluation.

I'm loving all the new ideas this game is coming out with when compared to vanilla EU3. The interface in those shots looks great as well.

It will be 1000x better, just like the way the mod made eu3 1000x better.

nice to see you over here at twc Ubik!

since S2TW is the big news here right now, any juicy news on how you guys will be reworking the model for japan in MMTG, to refine it even further from the amazing amount of polish in MMP2 & MMU?
