We can't do it in there, unfortunately. Lwt's do it this way hopefully,
1. Right-click the C: drive icon,
2. Click Properties,
3. Click the Security tab,
4. Click the Advanced button,
5. Click the Owner tab,
6. Click the Edit button,
7, Double-click your login one,
8. Click Okay.
There will be some files Windows won't let you take ownership of so when prompted, click Okay, and let it go.
i get stopped at point 7, when i select a new owner it says "Impossible to set a new owner on Acer C:" and "access denied"

ok now I did it, but after to set me as new owner it starts to say that a lot of files are already in a process and it's as an error, so i must continue to "continue" many times
Modder of "Bellum Crucis" and "De Bello Mundi"

Which menu? One for disabling the UAC?
Your first pic, click Account utente and post a pic of it. I think it is in here.
"Account Utente", i don't think is there, and if I search "local" it doesn't find it

On this page click the bottom one.
In the next page, pull the handle to the bottom. Windows will have a popup or two that you will have to say okay for it to take effect.
For all that Microsoft has been sued for not having something like this, they do not like people turning it off.
ok, i moved to the handle to the lowest position, and restarted the pc. So now the Virtual store is disabled?

For Medieval2 and Kingdoms, yes. Other programs will still use it,, though.
You're welcome.
Where can i find this Security Policy
Hello Gigantus, I plan on using your 3rd method later on to disable the virtual store, but I have a quick question: when you say: You might want to consider going into C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files, and deleting the Med2 folder, so there's no confusion for the game, and also to save space. . Are you referring to the M2TW folder in this location within my computer:
C:\Users\John Doe\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\SEGA
.because there is indeed a Medieval 2 Total War folder inside of it. I just want to be absolutely sure, so that I dont delete the wrong things.
