"Yes? How can I help you, good sir?"

Re: CSA Diplomatic Mission to France
"Good day sir, I have been sent with the authorization of the new Confederate States of America, who If I may add is the true continuation of the now defunct United States of America. To humbly ask for the aid of the French Republic in our war to defeat the tyranny of an absolute ruler. To keep it simple sir, we ask that your Spanish "friends" withdraw its aid of the American Royalists, it currently has a contingency fighting against us. We would also like to implore your excellency of whether noble France can lend the Confederacy but a portion of its great army. "

Re: CSA Diplomatic Mission to France
"Our British enemies are aiding you, oui? In that case, perhaps something can be arranged, Monsieur Drake..."
Talleyrand gets up and starts pacing around his office.
"And we will see what we can do about our Spanish friends, as well..."
