I don't really see how Dan freaked out, he had legitimate concerns and you guys responded with all the freaking out.

it just seems like Dan wanted the game to be realistic and not ruined like the countless ones before due to poor playing.

He took it to every thread, including Confederate diplomatic ones. He also refused to listen to any argument whatsoever. I consider that freaking out.

I can quit if you guys want; all I've done is made speeches and moved my army one province. But if playing by the rules is a game breaker I can leave. I'll just wait until a world wide game with the CSA starts up.

Well, where exactly am I playing poorly? I've made speeches and mvoed one province. My army and the combined army of the CSA is in no way over our limit of income, and considering we are upgrading Alabama and taking provinces from the North I don't see it being a problem. However I get to watch Dan go on to every thread saying I'm cheating and exploiting a loophole, one that completely doesn't exist and wouldn't be a problem to him if he devoted the amount of time that I have to writing four long speeches as a guy who hates language arts. So forgive me if I'm erked by this point, when I've gotten to listen to Dan imply that I'm a cheater when I have done nothing whatsoever that would be considered such, and I get to listen to it constantly.

I never accused you of such! If you're concerned, take it to Dan. Such accusations surely aren't the way to solve problems, he should know that. The way I see it, the wrong approach to solving the matter was taken on both sides. Just trying to keep the peace. All I saw was everyone gangbanging (wow, I can't believe I used that terminology) Dan, and I felt like things could've been more civil. I did not, however, know about his accusations and taking it to every thread in the IH subforum. Forgive me for intruding, I suppose this is a lesson for me not to stick my nose in others' business.

I'm pretty sure it's only faction leaders but I'd be glad to hear out your ideas. I set a tiny (and I mean tiny, for all of you spending your time hunting for hypocrisy) bit of money aside as an emergency fund so we might be able to use that.

Look, do I have to spell this out for you guys?

My army is 49 points per turn in upkeep.
One Jeb's army is 65 points per turn in upkeep.
The Other Jeb's army is 67.5 points per turn in upkeep.
MMM's army is 14.5 points per turn in upkeep.

Those are all of our armies for the moment.

That adds up to 196 points per turn.
The Confederacy's income is 208 points per turn.
We're also upgrading a territory, which will give us even MORE income.

WE ARE GETTING POSITIVE INCOME.

Now that I've calmed down a bit I would like to extend my most sincere apologies to everybody I've unloaded on over the past two days. This first half of the week has been very long and tiresome and a whole bunch of external things have been getting to me. This whole argument is probably doing me more harm than good (my hands are literally shaking as I type this) so I'm going to take a nice evening off of TWC, spend some time with my family, and come back tomorrow, hopefully refreshed and much less belligerent. Again, to the Jeb boys, Gunny, Fred, and anybody else I may have freaked out on, I'm very sorry. I hope we can all look past this.
