You've been playing too much Medieval 2. Trying to get into a trade league is not near of a good enough reason to shed the blood of tens of thousands of muslims in a silly Jihad. Plus it's not like I'd be waging an all out war, all I would have to do is send my enormous fleet (in construction) down there and stop you from crossing the straight.

Look at my income section under the "Economy" tab. It goes through step by step and adds the math up for you. Funny thing is, even with 2 battleship classes, a heavy cruiser class, and a frigate class, I'll still have 89,000 left over. It doesn't actually take affect until Monday though. But, seeing as I leave Sunday, it's more of a pre-order. Instead of having to do it all when I get back.

First, we haven't collected income yet, so you have no money with which to purchase an order.

Second, please stop with the battleships/heavy cruisers nonsense. This is the late Middle Ages, not the Naval Race.

I'm sorry, but that's always been an unspoken rule in IH, you can't pay for things until you actually have the money in your hand (in a manner of speaking). If you want your ships to be ready just ask somebody else to order them for you while you're away.

Be able to start your own trade leagues. You would need like 5 or so supporters, and would probably exclude you from trading outside the league, being the leader.

It would be a neat mechanic, but I think it should be limited to factions that realistically could start a league. The Ottomans don't have a naval tradition, let alone a navy; they control no resources of note, and can't even act as a middle-man for Eastern trade as the Venetians and Genoese would outcompete them everywhere.

Listen, Perry, I get that you're frustrated - but you have literally boundless free conquests at your disposal. Besides the Mamelukes, you are surrounded by NPCs that no player faction will ever support, so you will be rolling in cash soon enough.

I don't want my own trade league but I want an eastern trade league to level the field for eastern factions. And how could they outdue any eastern trade league? They won't trade with Muslims so have NO eastern trade so could not run an eastern league under.
