I see WEF 1787 is about to explode even before a constitution is written. Again.

If you guys so desire, we can skip to 1836/1840 now, and pretend that the real Constitution was adopted. With perhaps a few modifications so it isn't too much like OTL, ex. nobility, 3/4 rule instead of the 3/5 rule, etc.

    I'm with Thunder on 1836.

I was at a friend's house and got permission to spend the night there, when I felt that I'd made the wrong choice and prayed about it being the right one to stay at the friend's house. I still felt it wasn't, so I called for a ride home. I got home seven minutes after my mother died. Don't ing tell me that there is no God.

Well..... I guess it's a proven fact that IHers cannot ever write a constitution....... When the Zombie Apocalypse comes, I'll leave it to Dan, Gunny, Kip, and Barry.

I'll definitely pop in to make sure our rights are protected and the government stays out of the economy. Actually, I think that if we were REALLY in trouble, we'd do pretty well. Just tie up Fred and Perry, and we'll have no problems.

Then we shall put it to a vote

1836: 4 (Amaz, Agg, Rose, Batman)
    1840: 4 (Gunny, Rose, Kip, KF3)
    Continue 1787: 0

    We aren't big government.

Have you ever heard of the Articles of the Confederation? It was the predecessor of the US Constitution, and it failed horribly because it gave the states too much power. Nothing got done in that time except for the Northwestern Land Ordinance.

    I'll vote '37.

Yes, and it would've worked. It failed as a national government, because it wasn't meant to be one. It was, however, one of a very few periods of stability in the country.

    1836.

The only reason the country was stable was because we just became free.

The American Revolution is one of the few Revolutions that actually started out right.

Eh, I wouldn't mind a 1776 IH, without constitution writing, sometime

Why is everyone so bent on 36 over 40 may I ask? All it does it put us farther away from some real exploration and manifest destiny

Plus I'd really like to see it RB1810 style, rather than WEF 1.0 style, as well as no constitutional changes
