Game crashes.

I'm playing as Sparta and at the year 553 when I click end turn to go to year 554 the game crashes every time. What can I do to prevent this?

Well, that savegame is broken, so it's useless. You can start a new campaign, but before you do that, I advice you to go to your preferences file (for example; "C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\ROP\preferences\preferences.txt" or "C:\Program Files\Activison\Rome - Total War\ROP\preferences\preferences.txt") and change the autosave function from true to false, since it can cause CTDs.
