Waaay back when RSII was still in development, I was skimming through the Seleucid Faction preview. Several pages in I found several people expressing some disappointment that the Agema didn't make the cut. Fast forward to Oct 8, 2010, I remembered that discussion and figured why not try putting the Agema in myself? And so I did.
What does this mod do?
-Makes several units available to the Seleucid Empire, pictures and names of those unit shown below
-Allows recruitment of the following units in their respective cities.
+Spartan Hoplites
+Pergamum Hoplites
+Phrygian Cavalry
+The Lithobolos is available in certain Greek centers of learning.
-Alters some aspects of existing Seleucid units' textures.
-Makes elephants a little more lethal to the enemy.

To change the seleucid general bodyguard:
1. Go to the General's Bodyguard options folder and pick the corresponding EDU that has the name of the unit type you want and rename it to simply "export_descr_unit.txt"
2. Copy that EDU then go to Play_Seleucid\data and replace the EDU file there. *Note: This part of the mod is not save compatible
To install Tone's Stack and Battle Length mods:
1. Unzip file
2. Copy the EDU file with your desired settings and paste into Play_Seleucid\data, overwrite the EDU file there. *Note: The Agema and Hetairoi versions of this part of the mod are not save compatible
Uninstallation
1. Delete Play_Seleucid folder
2. Copy and paste the clean Play_Seleucid folder and remove the -clean on the last part.
Mostly save compatible, just make sure to delete the map.rwm at the launcher before starting and back-up your saves to be on the safe side.
Installation
1. Unzip the file
2. Copy and paste Play_Seleucid folder into the Roma Surrectum II folder
3. Optional - Copy and paste any of the alternate EDUs (Fewer Stacks, Shorter Battles/Release version) and/or the Alternative AOR EDB if you prefer.
To change the seleucid general bodyguard:

I tried also to implement a new unit for the hetairoi from the Res Gestae but i also had a crash cause the 500 limit had been surpassed. How can I do it?

Well, you gonna need to replace another unit to accommodate for that hetairoi unit. You'll have to delete entries for it in the EDU and DMB
If you're trying to introduce the model for that hetairoi unit, you'll also has to make room in the DMB and put the unit model and .dds texture in the respective places. Unfortunately, you'll gonna have to replace models and possibly textures of several units to do that because a lot of RSII units share one model.
Example, the model I used for my Agema is also used by the Scythians, Sarmations, Parthians and a mercenary unit to name a few.

You mean Corinthian face from the vanilla and RS1? I'm not much of a fan of that symbol (I like the anchor better) but sure I'll work on that later this week.

I'll maybe add it myself and give you credit - but at the moment i'm entirely focused on campaign modifications and it's eating up ALL my submodding time.

They're still available, they're one of my favorite units.

A little note: I've "tweaked" the elephants a bit and I'm going to need some opinion on it so as I can dial it in to a level most of us can all agree on. I'm planning to make the pezhetairoi recruitable in all settlements, would you want this so or not?
