    Default Arcade Battles balancing any map

    One thing I noticed is that no matter what mod you’re playing or Vanilla version of TW nobody for the most part uses the arcade option for online custom battles.

    Given the nature of the online custom battles IMHO it would balance out most map by forcing the player to start moving right off the get go. Let me re-iterate most maps not all.

    Not to mention speeding up the start time of the game.
    The Avatar Campaign is phenomenal, still learning and still having fun! Show your support and post your stats so that Rome II will have an Avatar Campaign!

    I am not sure about that aspect because when I played arcade style the only difference was: all players start the game in the default formation no moving troops around. That means dead center and front of your set up area.

    I have played a couple of arcade battles and never ran into the things you mentioned. Have you played arcade battles?

    When you press start, the battle starts you deploy during the battle now.

    Yes. I did a all ofrester vs all pharo bowmen in Vanilla with a friend. Arcade battle on. They never ran out of arrows

    Arcade battles doesn't even have loose formation...

    Forget that then. I thought that option only allowed you not to deploy, it was a long time ago that I played it and did not remember the downfall of it.

    well when you cannot deploy, you would reorganize your units right after start before enemy can get to you??

    If you eliminate loose formation and limited ammo you are making it way too easy for people that can skirmish.
