    So having this mod at the same time with DMUC doesn't take away the new units DMUC brought?

    No, it doesn't take away any units.

    Actually you could replace any campaign with CB but:
    Campaigns are primarily defined by the startpos.esf so any mod that has it's own startpos creates it's own campaign.
    The Causa Belli startpos.esf was created from the Ultimate campaign startpos.esf
    it's basically the same appart from the unlocked minor factions and small changes (eg Malta has a trading port instead of a naval port)

    So it doesn't matter which campaign you replace with CB, the CB campaign will always be the same because it overwrites the other. Note that if you replace any other than the Custom campaign then the roads will not show on the campaign map (this has technical reasons)

    In DMUC the Custom campaign was designed to be a placeholder to allow people to use any other startpos mod without altering the actual DMUC campaigns.

    Can't get it to work. Every time I try to launch the game the screen with the "courtesy of national maritime museum... bla bla bla" comes up and then the game crashes.

    That could most likely happen because of two things:
    - you've copied something to the wrong place (so the game can't find it and crashes)
    - something is wrong in the script file

    What's in your custom campaign script ?

    That looks fine, then there must be something wrong with the file placing
    or maybe a corrupted download, try downloading it from an other link.

    So far, out of 60 people only you reported problem so the mod should work fine.

    I have yet to try it,I need to know something first:after installation will I be able to play previous savegames?In other words,CB affects only Custom Campaign,right?so my uk ultimate campaign savegames still work...

    Also I wanna praise publicly Xwhyzed,not only for CB but also for his precious support here,he is one of the best fellow of TWC ,IMHO,and he deserves some kind of celebration...this isn't not to lick his as.,cos I couldn't care less,but it is my true opinion

    Yes, it only effects Custom campaign but I think even the custom campaign saves should still work since CB doesn't remove any units.

    I am playing atm with Venice and had no cd's still now. So the mod works perfect for me (newest DMUC + CB 2.0, no other mods).

    Really good work Xwhyzed!!!

    But to say the truth I am more waiting for "CB Extra", because I never played Hungary and Greece after the rework. Hungary was an old Beta-testing for you and Greece was with DMUC 6.0 and there they've been very unbalanced

    Do you need help with CB Extra or some testing etc.?

    I'll need some time to update it, then it will need testing because I haven't played with them since 6.0 and Greece was hard back then so with 6.9 or 7.0 it would be almost impossible due to the improved AI.
    but they were designed to be a challenge

    I did play a vh/vh campaign with greece in 6.9 with the old CB. it was hard but not impossible, and reached about turn 180 before my saves fall victim of a save bug.
    I was wondering if in CB 2.0 extra the new balance will make them easier to play, or harder, becouse I will try again to win a vh/vh campaing.... thanks!

    hey i am just wondering i also want to try Imperial Splendour and was wondering if it would be a good idea to try to use this with that? XD it might not be but it's just out of curiosity.

    I don't know, CB Extra is still under construction and Greece is not tested yet.

    It would CTD because Causa Belli uses some unit models/textures that are already in DMUC (eg. the German states units).

    Even if those were be removed CB was made and balanced for DMUC so the unit stats are totally different than IS.
    You'd have to rebalance around 200 units (that CB adds).

    about the loc.file:replacing the aum upc with this one brought by CB makes ultimate campaign and ultimate late campaign missing unit descr text,right?Or does the one of CB contain them too?
