Black squares skinning shields

Ho to all!
I just finished a mini-mod for BI that adds to Goths 9 new units (reskin of vanilla models) but for 3 of them I have a problem.
In battle, the first man of the unit (only the first from the left) has the shiled (or the axe) surrounded by a black box.
For the other men of the unit this error doesn't occour.
Why this happened?

you need to save the file as a .dds and a window will appear - save it as an alpha channel and that shou;d remove the black box - search google for a plug in that will allow you to save files as a .dds

Ah thank you! I used anyway a dds converter but I can't remember if i select the alpha channel options!
