But some "desesperados" as a rebel unit in a great campain, certainly.

Looks real good so far, and it sounds like you've done your research on the game and the period. I would wish you luck, but it seems like you have a pretty active mod team, so I don't think you'll need it.

how about battle AI ?
any ideas how to teach them not standing there and getting shot ?

i hate it, in my mod its the biggest AI problem i have
but maybe you have ideas ?

The IA is not our goal.
Germanicu5, certainly the best IA coder of TWC, is actually working on it (give rep for him !), but we have already explained that this 1.0 battle mod will be a multiplayer mod at first.
For now, the IA is rather good, with a half army for me and a compete army for IA, I'm defeated if I don't use particular strategies... but of course AI has some issues. For now, as the statistics aren't terminated, the IA might seem weaker than it is.

Some news : the units are 95 % terminated.

We do what we can, and if we say nothing it's just because we have nothing to say for now.

The version 1.0 will release in the coming month if we have all time, if not, after .
Previews will come to present the factions.

Take your time I was just thinking out loud as a American Civil War reenactor there are not to many good American Civil War RTS games out there so keep up the great work

Finally a mod on the American Civil War. And not expect it to be done on medieval II total war: kingdoms, I always thought that was the napoleon or empires. but the images seems to be getting very good. A small issue will have a campaign, or will just be multiplayer ?????????????????? keep the good work

The campaign will come with the 2.0 version ; all the patchs before will try to recreate the most perfect battles possible for this area on med2. A long way, almost if you have to deal with RL.

it's not a hard thing to do, and med2tw smoke effects really suck
