I can listen to anything but rap and "hip hop", whatever the hell that is. My favorite is Classic Rock, though.

    Hmm.
A little bit of everything, in all honesty. Sans rap and country for the most part.
Some Burgmuller, Willams, and Kuhlau to play on the piano, some SoaD to listen to, Willams and Shore to listen to (Romantic Orchestral), Patriotic Armenian stuff (orchestral), and classical armenian stuff (folksy music kinda? like the stuff you hear at any armenian get-together of more than 30 people...). I can't really think of anything else, actually.

I enjoy classic rock the most and recently I've been listening to more modern rock as well. Old school hip-hop like Run DMC is still great at parties with girls who have never heard of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, or The Who though though I can't stand newer rap acts like 50 Cent or such.

I'd have to say classic rock and the older country music.

It looks like everyone here is fan of Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin and Dire Straits! I love those three too, especially the former. Pink Floyd and Dire Straits are the only two who make me really emotional. Private Investigations, Brothers in Arms and Wish You Were Here are among the best songs ever.

Personally, I like the big contemporary soundtrack directors like Hanz Zimmer, Harri Gregson Williams and John Williams. That's from a proffessional musical stand point. Usually producing movie scores or even game scores, they add more meaning for every note due to the varying nature thier project demands(i.e "mood"). The end result is true quality.

However, were I asked to generalize and state what kind of music I like, I'd say classical, rock, reggae and some metal. Jimmy Hendrix is the best and I love rock classics like those created by Johnny Kay and Stephen Wolf.
