Sparta, Thebes, Lydia are not included as most of their stuff hasn't been shown.
Yes i probably pick athens because of ver very biased reasons, but what the hell.
Hahaha, you guys all must have forgotten about the minoans? :sweatingb
I really like Troy... but the hittites are cool 2!
I like the minoians the best 2 troy pretty fun also.
wheres Sparta?
=(
Well i carnt vote some how but ithica rocks
Poll's closed, but I'd have to pick Troy. Really, I can't stand the Trojans, but I'm a nut for organized warfare, and Troy most definitely has the best, most organized army.
lol. thats and intresting view.
Assistant to the regional manager.
Yeah, blows your mind.
i must admit that troys units do look the best dressed, and coming from a Rome playing background, they are the neatest, organised looking military. plus the fact that they are the same as they were portrayed in the film dos'nt hurt.
and ive just started playing as athens, who look quite good so far.

you could say that but also the minoens are protrayed as the middle men undecided dont rearly know what they are fighting for but under achillies they take troy.
by far they have the better armour not the most organized army but any total war game sorts that and use good stratagy i think the are half decent.
not as organized as athens or troy but force makes up for it.
Thessaly is mt favorite. i like to have good heavy cavalry, and they start in a secure position to expand there empire
the strongest faction(unit wise only, not location or economy) must be the Lycians because their Archers are just OP(overpowered), not to mention their heroes, crazy 30 missile attack archers!
as for favourite, that would be Troy/Doria, both unit wise and location wise. blitzing is very easy with both(and the AI is terrible with both) not to mention that you have plenty of rebels around you so you can actually choose which factions to take on. say with Troy I chose to head over to the North East and deal with the Thracians early instead of rushing the Hittites or Lydia. mainly because they decided to randomly block a port of mine hence declare war, a very foolish move indeed well I'm at war with Lydia too, mainly because they somehow reached "Strongest Faction" status somehow :o so I put them in their place and thrashed them(I'm Largest and Strongest Faction).
but if I wanted I could ignore Thrace or just destroy their fleet and get a Ceasefire, and go head on against the Hittites, or go for the victory condition cities in the Western part of the Greek culture area.
