    hi guys great work, but I have a modding question, I was trying to make a new unit in Stainless Steel and I used this guide to make the unit: http://medieval2.heavengames.com/m2t...ts/index.shtml
    I followed the Guide to the letter, is there anything extra you have to do do to make a unit in Stainless Steel?

    You might have to remove a unit from the EDU.

    Its the "export_descr_units" file, it has a limit of 500 entries. My advice is that you remove the peasants, they are useless anyway.

    have the settlements been customized or are they just vanilla? i was viewing this mod http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...ige-Krieg-v1-0 and i really like what they have done with the walls.

    well that is upsetting. siege equipment on walls seems like a good idea, I assume that if one knew what he was doing with custom settlements he could also make towers within the settlement... anyway... settlement design seems an untapped resource at the moment. we get all those pretty ones in third-age but where are the practical ones? except for that german mod of course...

    If you want custom settlements you're going to have to get started on them yourself as there are only about 10 people on TWC who know how to do it, and most are busy or inactive. Making different walls might be doable without knowing everything. Anyhow, here are some links to get you stared:

    There is a perefctly good reason why only a couple mod have even attempted this (most notablly the 30 year war one and TATW) . it's really is very time consuming, and requires both good modding skill AND good artistic skill at the same time.

    And tbh there are more important things you can do besides custom settlements.
