After clicking download I only seem to download one file name. american_civilwar_mod2.0 .rar

is there more I am supposed to be doing with that file to get to the six different files i need to place in the data folder? And how do you "activate" the files?

1) Extract all 6 files into your Empire total war\Data folder

2) Download Mod manager:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/etw-...5.zip/download

3) Put the mod manager into your data folder and activate the two files
(make sure that you don't have "show all pack files" active. Without that, you don't see and can't choose these 2 files):
AmericanCivilWar-Soundsmusic.pack
AmericanCivilWar-Smoke.pack

4) Launch the game using the mod manager!

Make shure, that you don't have any other mods in your data folder. And you need Winrar or 7z to open the single file. Extract it and then copy them to your data folder.

How do you "activate" the two files. I have them seperated using zip into the six files.

With modmanager, a program you have to downlink. (link above)
Other way go one side back there have i explained it.

Is the Gatling by any chance shared with the blokes from Khartum? When 2.0 was first released I thought you should ask those guys if you could borrow the model/textures but I never got round to mentioning it (too busy playing the mod )

We have our own model thogether with reworked animations so the barrels are rotating when firing.

Maybe primergy can show 2 ingame screenshots of his gatling gun. I think we wont need the nice model of the karthum mod and we can be proud of a more civil war style gun

A Gatling gun Wow ! Looks great I got 2.0 working last night and it’s the best mod ever and I’m delighted with it. The Manassas’s and Shiloh maps are fantastic.
