having trouble installing

hey i dont know what im doing wrong, i followed the directions on the installation post but messages pop up that say "error, filename doesnt exist: data/models_engine..." etc. this is what ive done: i downloaded the mod in 4 parts ran it on winrar, then clicked on the "RES_INSTALLER.exe", watched it extract and after a few minutes it took me to the installing setup (which by the way was in italian? lol) anyway i wrote the file location of rtw which is v1.5 and when it was done there were 3 icons res bellicae "alex" "b.i" and "rtw". i didnt download alex or b.i so i didnt use those but i clicked on the rtw one and my monitor went black as to load it, but the dreadful message came along any suggestions? im using vista by the way. any help is appreciated

uhm install also the new patch 2.0
but if it says it lucks some files it's like you have done something wrong...try running the mod after putting on the "windows xp service pack 3 compatibility"

it does not seems like you have installed the mod in the wrong folder.The path is to the "rome total war" folder (the one that contains the "data" folder and the exes) anyway just to be sure

the biggest option is the compatibility..seems like it's searching files in the wrong folder

to put on the compatibility mod right click on the link you are usinf and search in the properties
you will easily find it

hahaha if that is it i will feel really dumb XD but anyway thank you for the quick reply and im gonna try this; i had to uninstall RTW just to start a new so im gonna give it a go lol

just a quick question, how do i get "windows xp service pack 3 compatibility" i went on the RTW icon compatibility, and it says "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" i dont have the third one

hey it works now!!! lol i dont know what i did but it just simply works hahaha. I do have one more question, is there any way i can give the AI more money? that way they have like stacks like crazy lol i love to battle thats why.

the upcoming patch 3.0 is really hard
to give monei just press '\' button under the "esc" one during play and write add_money faction_name,denari to add (looks like add_money macedon,1000 )
