Just read about him on wikipedia. I haven't seen any of his media stunts, but I can't say I disagree with any counteractions against the stupidity called intelligent design and creationism.

Ted Haggard is a douche bag, but not for what he said there at the end of the clip. He had a point. Sometimes intellectuals come across as arrogant, probably because they are and deserve to be (like Dawkins), but it still comes across the wrong way. No body likes it when people come at you with a position of superiority and call your beliefs into question, regardless of how correct they are and how silly your beliefs really are.
