    equally it could be termed the Kingdom of Lahore, but in reality I think it is work that does not need to be done, when there are many other things to do.

    A customised Unit faction including new units and the addition of the Church and perhaps some Prestige/Cultural buildings will really help bring the faction to life

    I know, but then you need a customised localisation file, as there will be many who don't want so the UPC will not get changed globally, but I'm easy

    Adding a new unit is very easy, takes max 5 mins if you don't want to change the model/texture just the stats and the name.

    Even making the texture is quite easy, changing colors and stuff like that can be done fast in Photoshop or any other paint program that can handle .dds format.
    So if you only want to change the texture you can still make it easily.

    Making the model (making a model that is convertable to variant mesh and works in ETW) is hard.
    It is a pain to be exact

    I'm not sure how many people would want the name Punjab back, but it seems like I have to do loc changes anyway (faction info, unit names/descriptions, gurdwara name/description)

    @Everyone: Anyway, I still have to add the guru and such. For today:

    • Add school to Punjab
    • Change the madrasa to a gurdwara (it's still there since I changed the region ownership from Mughals)
    • See if I can figure out how to make a guru (i.e. a Sikh missionary as opposed to accidentally sticking them with a Catholic one )

    Well Okmin, I'm happy to hear that the mod is almost done
    We will call it 0.9, because the guru texture is not unique.
    Take the textures of a brahmir for the guru's and the textures of the ashrams for the gurdwara's.


    EDIT: to Okmin: Be ready to update the Italian Flags mod, this will be first priority when DMUC 6.2 comes out!

    perhaps a look at some of adrian74's units, maybe the Dey or the Sultan with some minor tweaks and a re-skin would be better for the guru

    I have a problem. The way the game works is not gonna let me change Eastern Scholar to Sikh Scholar just for Punjab. Has to be for all Indian factions, so I'm gonna leave it alone. Also the gurdwara's refuse to spawn gurus. Everything else is working though.

    Italian States: I thought you said that mod works? It won't need any updating unless they changed the startpos.

    Well, I tested it and the flags become entirely red after evolution...

    And you can leave the scholars as they are.

    Now only the problems with the gurdwara's...
    Does anybody know how to make the gurdwara's spawn religious agents?

    The DE entry is spawn_rate_missionary_(religion), but there's no entry for Sikh... Maybe it's because I made it guru instead of sikh

    The display name should be 'guru', but the religion should be 'Sikh'.
    Anyone with some experience/knowledge who can tell us what to do?
