Ok so i was was playing as HE. I lost Ost-in-Edhil and the Gwaith-i-Mirdain ruins were destroyed in the sacking. Can I rebuild it and still reunite the HE and SE?
You can still reform the HE (not reunite HE and SE; read the FAQ in the op)
But if youīve reformed the HE you canīt recruit the mighty smiths of eregion without that building
Might depend on the features that i / they select. I never play with Limited AI stack spam, All Factions Horde, Ressurect allied factions, Re-emergent factions and Immortal Heroes/Nazguls.
I know that some have problems with CTDīs but the way you keep saying this it sounds as if this submod is unplayable and that one shouldnīt even give this submod a try. Be a nice guy and leave it be. Such statements donīt help anyone.
Khales has a point there, I played it for 200 or some turn, had few ctd but nothing which couldn't pass by. Quick save before any battle or End turn, and lot of scripts didn't accept. It is playable, I played as Silvan Elves.
I had 2 Silvan Elves campaigns (both unfinished though) with this compilation installed; first one I left at turn 133, second one at turn 184. Both with only one CTD each, being the same famous first-time-Spider-ambush-CTD.
I do believe it is the scripts you accept/decline at the start. It has been a while so I do not really totally remember which scripts I played with and I did not, but the ones I declined were almost the same ones as Khales has mentioned and additionally the Garrison Script. So, it is definitely not unplayable...
However, I play with almost all options always, so it may have to do with that.
Now if we want to do the players a favour while not taking the mod down; those of you who can play should perhaps make a list of safe options to choose?

Those ctdīs appear mostly when a faction is about to have less than 5 settlements or is about to be destroyed.
The Limited AI Stack Spam script seems to intefere with other scripts. Thatīs why EoH recomended to delete it.
But i think thereīs also a problem with the ability for all factions to reemerge as horde factions. This canīt be solved via the campaign script. This would have to be changed in descr_sm_factions.txt ( to remove the horde ability from a faction just delete the lines between between "custom_battle... and can_sap" in its sm_factions entry). After removing this the scripts that relie on that shouldnīt be selected or even be removed.
When i reinstall this mod iīll mess with those files again to see how it works. But i donīt have much time atm.
But itīs also tiresome to post solutions which then disappear in this thread

You could ask Hero to have a look perhaps? He is usually helpful, but he may be reluctant to make bugfixes for a mod compilation that is not his own when he has a lot on his hand supporting the MOS-lovers (one of the things I like about MOS is that it is consistently developed and supported). It cannot hurt asking though.
You could also ask Mhaedros or SF to add your speculations as a footnote to Baron's OP, but again; that is sort of stepping in on his territory if they do so.
Alternatively you could start a new thread with your speculations.

I had looked around and didn't see anything which would normally cause a CTD. It could be something very random. The problem is that I don't exactly know how every script works and what it does. The only one who could fix this is baron who is absent and when/if he returns I hope he continues with DAC .
The link for the second half of the download has been blocked, anyone got an alternative for part 2?
Is a patch or fix for Total Recruitment posted anyway in this thread? 200 pages is alot to go through. I loved have the Total Recruitment mod, one of the main reasons i chose this pack. Now since its outdated i use MOS. Which doesnt have this. Im wondering if their is an alternative mod, or a fix, or something that will let me keep using that amazing mod.

Iīve modified this submod and tested 2 campaigns until turn 150 with all scripts enabled excepts those that i had removed. I had no more gamebreaking ctdīs
I had to remove the ability for all factions (except Mordor because of the One Ring feature) to reemerge as horde faction. Because of that...
- Horde Script
- Re-Emergent Factions
- Limited A.I. Stack spam
- Germanicu5 Achievement mod (rewards are working again)
Just extract the attachment into your Third_Age 3 folder (donīt forget to install the bugfixer that is attached in the first post) and report how it works for you. Iīm still testing ...
