1.0 The Uprising
In the year of 1180, an uprising led by Salah Al Din in Fatimid Egypt
succeeded and the Fatimids were defeated. The people were astonished by Salah Al Din, And asked him to become their new leader, But Salah Al Din replied
'I will not lead this Nation until it changes its ways of Shia'sm to the Sunnah of the Prophet.'
After some consideration, the people were convinced by the fact that they will need a protector against the invading Christians and they were also astonished by his leadership, So they all converted in the period of a night. The people of Egypt changed their ways and Salah Al Din made him self the new Caliph of the Muslim Ummah.
1.1 The Conquest of Medina
The first thing Salah Al Din directed his eyes towards was Medina, the town of the blessed Prophet. If he could conquer Medina he would convince more Muslims to join his cause, and if people are to take his Caliphhood seriously he would need Medina. He would also be able to persuade Scholars from Medina to join his cause.
Therefore he ordered his brother Turanshah to conquer Medina.
Turanshah mobilized from the town of Tayma 46 mounted soldiers, and 150 spearmen and hired another 100 mounted archers on his way to Medina.
Salah Al Din had ordered his brother to siege Medina to avoid Muslim blood to be spilled, and to not spill blood in this holy town.
The defenders of Medina were given the Message to submit but they rejected.
After two years the Defenders sallied towards us, Which lead to the Battle for Medina.
Turanshah placed his spearmen infront of his Mounted Archers whom would pound arrows upon the enemy while the Spearmen block the enemy from reaching the Archers. Then Turanshah would with his Cavalry flank the enemy from behind and cause the enemy to Surrender to avoid Muslim bloodsheed. Turanshah managed well and the Defenders surrended and Medina was in Salah Al Din's control.
1.2 Al-Jihad Has been Declared
Upon the year of 1183 Salah Al Din whom had the policy to unite the Muslims before even fighting a single Crusader, Had to change Policy due to the fact that the Abbassid Caliphate was attacked by the Crusaders. This was the perfect time to payback for the Christian massacre of Muslims and Jews, and reclaim Jerusalem from the disgrace that is the Crusaders. Even though the Muslim Ummah was in a weak state at that moment, Salah Al Din attacked without hesitation.
Salah Al Din whom had prepared for a siege to avoid blodshed had to change plans, The Crusaders had reinforcements and attacked.
vs
Salah Al Din set up a strategy with his other General to divide the Cavalry into 2 forces, Whom would flank the enemy from 2 different direction from the back, While the Mounted Archers harass their cavalry.
The victory in the Battle for Jaffa was a great victory which boosted the Morale and hope for Muslims around the world where the Crusaders finally were attacked and defeated. Those captured, Were all to be executed for their sins of Massacre commited against Muslims and Jews, But they were given the choice to convert and live among the Muslims, Only few accepted. The Mosques were also rebuilt in Jaffa.
