you could do it yourself using the uniform editor...oh wait, they promised that at the release, but broke it soon after. oh well, you have to manually do it through the table editing tools.

Actually, it seems Pack File Manager can do much of what the uniform editor promised to do.

Also, Bart and Georider have made Prussians with more historic hats.

And then there's my hat mod, although it might be what you're looking for. It changes most of Prussia's uniforms to the 1805 standard.

in a cumbersome and not at all intuitive way that requires a novice to read 2 hours worth of tutorials. yeah.

oh and he wants the caps that the prussian militia uses. your 1805 hat mod gives them biocorns.

there are no mods like that as i can recall. @ op, you'll have to do it yourself using the pfm manager.

It looks scary at first, but copy and paste is your friend for modding variant files. However, for Kiwers, you need to do something a little trickier, but it gets easier after awhile. Besides, you can always ask someone for a quicker summary of the tutorials.
About my hats mod, I said it may not be what he was looking for. But atleast it dealt with the stupid shakos.
For these mods, my hats mod is in my sig.
    Georider's mod.
    Bart's mod.

if you really can't figure it out, just download georider's mod. he includes greatcoats among other desirable visual things, so that might be a bonus. afterward, you can open up his pack file with the pfm editor, navigate to the unit variable list and change the hat models from there.

also, his mod includes wax hat cover, so at least it'll improve the look of the canister hats
