Problem....

So i installed the game, with a fresh RTW 1.5 install as required, and everything appears to be in order.

however

when i try to start a campaign, right after the launcher asks "Have you selected the faction?" Another message pops up saying "Failed to initialize 3d Audio!"

any suggestions as to why this may be?
