Thread: Less is More

    Default Less is More

The problem with getting so many units, because of the cost, is that you get to a point where it is very repetitive.
Specially when both the AI and YOU have large stack of Armies. I say less is more. Raise the cost to recruit for both you and the AI. That will also make conquering a bit more challenging.
And the battles will be much more meaningful and much more memorable.
In this case, yeah, less is more!

Well you could create a sub mod that got higher costs for units.

Well for me it's hardly any work changing a few numbers in the spreadsheet, exporting them and uploading those 4 or 5 files.

Respect. Always working away for the pleasure of others. Once you are finished with the editing, please do yourself a favour and relax for a long time, you and the others in the team have deserved a long break.

Wow that would be funny if a modding team managed to come out with a Roman based game that had the quality and depth of RSII's campaign and the naval battles of Napoleon before CA could release RIITW, that would force them to have to come out with something really special when they did release theirs.

You know I did try to do that for the XGM mod, but for some reasons i did not get the result I wanted.
The computer just took more time to recruit but they would not attack unless they had huge stacks.
I wish i could have gotten the same result as in the Imperial Splendour Mod.
