Auto Save
I know we are not suppose to have Auto Save ON. So I set it to FALSE in both the preferences files under the main directory and in the Preferences directory. Yet, a recent AUTOSAVE game file can still be found in my saved game directory.
Not sure what I missed. Anyone else come accross this? Thanks in advance.

Did you edit the preferences of the faction you're playing? Each campaign has its own preferences.txt.

There will be a preferences file for each of the options on the launcher. There will only be folders and files for campaigns you've actually launched.
Was the autosave created after you changed the file or before?

That was it. It was not set in the Play_Rome campaign preferences folder. Thanks.
