No more gates at the walls?

Hi,

i know you removed the gates to make sieges more challenging. I like that idea by adding more towers, but with removing the gates all looks a very bit unreal.

So does anybody know, how to add gates again?

Interesting, i conquered Tarracino at the italic campaign and it had no gates.
I'm using the "low_battle" setting as you described to make the game faster.

Besides, renaming the aerial_map_low to aerial_map and deleting the old aerial map resulted in a ctd at start of the game. Did exactly as you described.

italics...a barbarian town problem...but no gates at all? or at the opposite side of cities?

No gates at all. But they are rebels, no italics.
