The Stupid Generic Error when starting game HELP PLEASE
I keep getting the
"Generic Error:
Unable to find skeleton 'fs_sl_forest_elephant_javelinrider"
and I created a new folder and installed RS2 files in it. And you guys say I have to take RS2 files from the new folder and put it in a clean RTW fresh install.
Well do I have to overwrite all the folders or do I have to go to every damn folder and put in the files?
And do I have to reinstall my RTW again to get a new copy?
Im really tired of installing and unistalling RTW...

yah as long as the directory is a clean install and has no other mod in it other than RS2 which you will relpace the files with the new files

Re: The Stupid Generic Error when starting game HELP PLEASE
Well after umpteen unsuccessful attempts to install RS2 I have finally had enough and decided to go back to playing RS1.6. I continually get the error which this thread is about, I'm not blaming the Mod, I know its me, not very bright when it comes to computers. If someone can put the installation of RS2 into a way that I can understand then I will give it another go.
