Pharsalus historical battle gives me a crash , is that normal?

i don't think historical battles are ment to be played

try loading the game then save it again and then hit the next turn button

Yeah don't play the historical battles they are all more or less broken.

I tried Beth-Horon and it seemed to work fine. (Quite a fun one too

I thought some had been re-done and worked - the problem was some do and others don't. I read somewhere that the broken ones were marked 'do not play'.

Having said that I just got a non error CTD with Pharsalus.

Yeah, Elendil of Numenor was doing some work on historical battles but I think real life stuff took over so he was unable to finish.

Well, I did do some work on a bunch of these, but somewhere along the line it got broken again. It looks like the reason is that the 'slave' faction no longer has either the textures or the ownership of legio viii augusta.
I guess something got changed there, because any of these I changed and didn't put 'Do Not Play' on were working before.
