Name: New America Party Leader: Frederick Denver Official colors: Red and White Ideology: Economy and Trade, Immigration, Slavery Biography: New America is a recently formed party, created by a coalition of southern conservative politicians and plantation owners, led by Frederick Eugune Denver. Many are Frederick's good colleagues and friends, bound togther both by ideology and friendship. The party was formed to offer a significant opposition to the Nationialists and the Whigs, who's plans and programs angered many southerners. The Party are strictly conservative, however supporting a free trade policy, to help stimulate the economy, and boost profits from exports. On Immigration, they are opposed to allowing foreigners to enter and live in America, seeing that they will destabilize the government and cause ethnic tension. Finally, the are firmly against the growing anti--slavery movement- Slavery is both their and the nation's lifeblood, and cannot be removed, lest the nation descend into poverty and anarchy. Members:
