    I will add a pack including the allies of the Confederation of the Rhine, at the end of my work on the faction France. This is a mod that can be added or not to the standard version.
    The unit "Marie Louise" will add to the standard version and this will be the last change to the list of unit.

    Beautiful song of the soldiers under Napoleon on the women who followed the great army on the ground. "les vivandičres", cantiničres et blanchisseuses"
    She warmed the hearts of soldiers before and after battles, clean clothes, prepare and serve meals was their daily lives.
    Too often we forget all those brave women and volunteers, there must have in all armies.
    In the French army, they were a very important symbol for soldiers who were often away from their families. She were highly respected by the soldiers of the empire.

    Then, I had to correct the values of l'aigle's units, because they are not compatible with NER.
    So in Imperial_Eagle_0.9b_Mod.pack/db/unit_stats_land/custom_unit_stats_land, I edited some values with the PFM.

    The values that I changed are : Unit size, Number of horses, Accuracy, reloading skill, Ammo, Melee Skill, Morale, Charge bonus, Defense Skill and also Can skirmish.

    See the tsv file attached to the post in order to take a look at what I changed.

    I Also reduced the number of "mameluks de la garde" and "gendarmes d'élite ŕ cheval", because in my opinion, it is more historically accurate to represent these units by a squadron instead of an entire regiment.

    EDIT: I have looked into this, and I think I need something much simpler. I am looking only to replace the skins of the existing units in NER. How can I get just those skins so they replace the vanilla ones?

    If you only want to replace the uniforms, then just do this :

    In NER_Campaign.pack/db/uniforms_tables/ner_uniform, delete the following lines :

    you can also delete france_inf_elite_french_old_guard too if you want l'aigle's old guard uniform.

    The unit names are all different... so to just get skins into NER I think I will have to take L'aigles skins files and change all the unit names back to the NER or vanilla names so the game can select them instead.

    you dont have to, is it good so as Bellicose had explained, i did it myself too and game imports l'aigle's skins, it works fine, just delete what Bellicose wrote.

    As Bellicose said, to do what he did you have to amend tables to be in line with NER. I don't want to do that - I just want NER to use the skins that L'aigle has changed for EXISTING units... which means a mod which replaces the skins (atlas files, variables etc) assigned to the NER units (and leaves the associated stats alone). I have tried to do this tonight, but with patchy success - it is beyond my abilities at this time.

    While this mod is about providing a marvellous array of new units, I would suggest that providing a small patch with the new skins for core units in vanilla (and those mods which use them) would be a welcome addition to most players, and if someone has the skills to create a mod which simply does the swap of skins and does not mess with stats or anything else (like Mongsworth's original mods), it would be gratefully received.

    In the meantime, I will stick to Mongsworth's skins. Thank you all.

    OK.

    Thanks again for the file. However, because it still required extensive database stats changes and additions for extra units I don't really need at this point, I found the way to get what I wanted...

    I deleted all but the battle_musicians, UI, unitmodels and variantmodels files from the main L'aigle pack, and then simply changed the Uniform Variant column entries in the uniforms_tables of NER - from the existing vanilla Imperial Guard units to the L'aigle alternatives (as per the variantmodels/units file in the L'aigle pack). Et voila! I have the new skins... and don't need to make any changes to the stats at all!

    PS: I used the Tirailleurs skins for the Young Guard units in-game... just because I think it's a more handsome uniform!

    Looks great - I am a happy chappy...

    Thank you - my intention exactly.

    Now that I know how to do it, if you can share the unit variant and atlas files I can add the troops as you do them and get pictures for you if you'd like to use them for promos or headers etc. Let me know!

    I noticed there are no pictures on the info cards... so I made a little mod to add them for the units I am using. The vanilla ones are OK except for three, so I made new ones for the Greatcoat OG, Tirailleurs, and Napoleon... nothing grand and could be better, but they are better than the blank spaces!
