Better stamina since you're a veteran.
I hope they won;t go for unlocked weapons.

The realistic class caps and the fact that the majority of players walked around with a basic rifle was a big deal for me in RO. It really helped the realism.

From what I heard at the tripwire interactive forums it sounds like certain classes (officer and MG probably ) will be restricted as it is important for someone half decent with an MG or who actually uses the command functions to be in the respective roles.

    That's okay by me.

I just don't want all the people to end up a sniper, either by an unlocked class or some unlocked weapon.

1 sniper per side like RO1 is best I think.
Anymore and the game will just become a campfest.

Well the numbers don't lie: those games sold alot more than RO1

Doesn't make it a bad game at all, but it shows that this fall will provide some stiff competition!

hmm on the servers I have played on it was always 1.
    Worked really well I thought.
It maintained mobility in the game as one guy hardly makes or breaks a game.

The guy claimed in another thread that he was a hardcore PC gamer, too, and that he was mad the game he wanted wasn't going on PC.

Ironically it's games like these that are the last sanctuaries of true PC gaming.

That just shows how gullible people are these days, I bet the dumb expensive map packs sold more too.

Or it shows that there is a smaller market for realistic games. And to be honest, I can see why. Most people probably don't want to play a hardcore mega realistic game when they just want to have some quick fun before dinner or with the friends at a LAN party.

Now, I like games with a realistic portrayal of war, but I also like games that puts me in the action without me having to manually start the engine of the tank, then warm up the engine, then have another player be the gunner, then only being able to see through a small little vent...

Point is, I don't see why you have to just stick with one type of game. I like some variation. I'll buy and play BF3 for sure, but that doesn't rule out RO2 from my gaming radar. I just don't see why everything has to be "this game is like this, and the rest of them are rubbish". Games can be great in their own right. I really liked RO, but I also like TF2.

When it comes to map packs you have to pay for....I have nothing to say. That's just rubbish tbh. If we talked about new game modes, and a veery cheap price label then it might be debatable, but as far as I know, IW charged 13 dollars for a bunch of new maps? Sweet Jesus, that's ALOT of money.
