Thread: Beginner to Intermediate Animations Course

Default Beginner to Intermediate Animations Course

How many are interested? Use the poll so I know the exact number and whom you are.

A plain and simple course that should not be overwhelming to anyone. It will focus on working with GOAT/GOAL, skeletons, joints, assigning animations, scaling animations, adjusting weights, and coding. The course will consist of a series of simple practical application lessons and tasks that everyone should be able to comprehend.

I'm interested. I hope there is more to milkshape than I know because it seems very limited

Milkshape is limited in creating new animations from scratch because it skips a frame, but in this course we will be working with preexisting skeletons and joints, and assigning preexisting animations to them. This type of stuff is Milkshape's strong point because it is so simple to do. Again though, you may use any program. This course may even be easier than the modeling one.

    Animations ?!?
I don't know what you don't understand at animations ?
How to make own animations for total war units for example ?
Fighting animations, death animations, something like that ?!?

This course will begin after the modeling course is finished, to allow peeps to take part in both. The course will cover most everything you need to know about animating models and implementing those animations into the game, as is listed in the first post. If you don't know what I am talking about... then take the course and find out.
