Sorry,but i think there's no "elephant" in NTW,only in m2tw and rtw i think,never played etw.

Interestingly, this is our plan of getting tanks in-game. We have already - and succesfully, may I add - imported elephants from E:TW to N:TW, but we still have to make entirely new animations and replace the elephant model.

You need to turn the elaphant in the hull and the rider in the top thingie. Did it in M2TW.
Exactly. The 'top thingie' being the turret.
We recently discovered that the position of the rider is not governed by some mysterious file like the gun positions of the ship, and thus, we should be able to make a turret model that can actually turn and aim at enemy targets.

Yeah, as you can see in my sig () I currently have the elephants, and we are currently trying/thinking about ways to get this to work. But since we most likely have to make completely new animations, this will be a while (by which I mean probably not even in 5.0)
Animations, possibly. We will need to change a cavalry unit to the elephant animation and see what happens as well.

2 Questions:
-Don't Stakes Kill Elephants?
-How would you even begin tackling multi-turret tanks? Makes a WWII mod look easy by comparison.
1. Do they? This will require testing but even so, if we have to have stakes/barbed wire in or tanks, I'd go with tanks
2. First comes single turret. Multi-turret will be more difficult, but since you can have more than one person riding an elephant hopefully not impossible

Its too bad there is only one tank that has a turret on the top All the other tanks are going to be a whole lot tougher...
The big fixed gun tanks like the AV could just have an invisible turret since it had guns on every side if it comes down to it. I'm not sure if you can restrict the angles of turrets so having certain weapons attached to invisible turrets to simulate tanks that have multiple types of similar guns on each facing might be a way to go.
