Why in the warp did they let you out of HTr without properly training you first?

@kittysn...some players put their cav in wedge but don't actually perform the exploit. not sure how much it will help

@magic...the standard rules in M2 lobby doesn't forbid pushthrough either but people automatically not use it. except 3 people i know who will use pushthrough, in which case automatic use in their game. up until about beginning of 2009 pushthrough wasn't being extensively banned

that's some strange sense of fair vedran its true that pushthrough is easier to do and more potent but they perform the same result...bypass unit balancing. Its only fair as long as both players know the technique and take their chances of using them. Not to say that wedge trick and pushthrough are bad techniques. However, using them on an unaware person is.

CA and SEGA never completely patching out major bugs. so if the technique isn't removed, that doesn't disqualify it as an exploit

i admit im not very good (im only a num anyway, which means when i host games that arent internals only lower level clan members join them.) but i have killed cataphracts a few times with wedge which left my oppnent wondering how the his g/g cataphracts couldnt beat my sacred band or whatever i brought.

This doesn't make much sense. How is killing catas with wedge related to his catas not killing your Sacred Band?

oddly enough we have trainers but i dont know who they are and have never been trained. i think i might have fallen through the cracks so to say since there was a general shift in managment when i joined. (appearntly when Mir tried to change to a different website, then got kicked or something)

because we just charged straight at each other and they were in melee until his cats routed. I was assuming wedge helped with that.

You never got trained? that is perverse. and no, Mirariel did not get kicked, them hell boys crashed the new site from what i hear and reverted to their old one. Mirariel is still a hell member, and otherwise you lost your Teamspeak sponsor and that would be very dumb.

As long as there are methods to counter the wedge trick, and there are, and as long as it is not easy to do, which it is not, we consider it to be a normal tactic and do not really give a damn about M2TW bugs.

I do not give a about both bugs either; and I never said that those two bugs are abnormal tactic. I just said that those are both considered bugs and that it considered unfair if you use them on a regular person who can't prepared to counter the wedge trick.

What do you mean with both bugs? we dont see it as a bug at all. all you have to do is not put your units in a dense row. do you realize how few scenarios there are where it can actually be exploited to its full power?
