The year is 1809 and the French are reeling from a harsh Guerrilla war led by Spanish rebels and supplied by the British forces on the Peninsula. Seeing his Empire ready for collapse the great French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte has made his way to Spain in hopes of rallying his armies and regaining control before it’s too late. Opposing him stands Sir Arthur Wellesley, commanding the coalition of English, Portuguese and Spanish troops it is his goal to retake the peninsula and liberate the Spanish and Portuguese from French tyranny. For months Napoleon has punished the Spanish in his march west, if Wellesley is to safeguard Portugal and save Spain from Napoleon’s ambition he will have to stop his advance before his allies lose all hope.
