Probably because it's not a Bulgarian, but a Turkic word, considering the Shishmanids (like the Terterids before them) were of Cuman origin. Of course, it could also be "translated" through modern Bulgarians as "shishko", meaning "fatty", but that would be quite incorrect (and probably some form of Turcism in the modern Bulgarian language anyway).

    Hungary:

faction leader: Nagy Lajos (Louis 'the great' of Anjou, 1326) + Margit (Margarethe von Luxemburg 1335)

at game start, Lajos should have only 1 male relative alive, namely:

István (Stephen of Anjou, 1332). When he come of age he received the usual '2nd son' titles of Croatian Ban and Voivode of Transylvania.

Since 1 character is quite few (altough historical), a few generals of Lajos:

István Lackfi (born: ? - dead: 1353, voivode of Transylvania 1344-1350, ban of Croatia-Dalmatia 1350-1352)
Miklós Toldi (born: 1320 - dead: 1390, ispán of Szabolcs county, general of Lajos, and later freelancer condottiero in Italy)

    hungarian titles:

    royal family:

    King/Király

    Prince/Herceg
    Heir to the throne

    provincial titles:

    ?/Bán
Bán is the administator of a big region. Usually in a border region with enemies near

    Voivode/Vajda
The administrator of Transylvania, nominated and removed by the king at will.

    Count/Ispán
Administrator of the counties, nominated and removed by the king at will.

    other titles:

    Pfalzgraf/Nádorispán
The helper of the king, second in command. Nominated by the king.

    Lord Justice General/Országbíró
Backup for Nádorispán, and can sign in the name of the king.

    Lord High Treasurer/Tárnokmester
The administrator of the holdings of the royal family, also 1st man in the chancellary.

    Lord of the Stables/Főlovászmester
Oversees cavalry units, horse exports and royal post. Also a cavalry commander.

magister janitorum/Ajtónállómester (didn't find english. Sg. like Lord of bodyguards)
One of the lesser ranks. The boss of the royal bodyguards. Provides and organizes the security of the royal family, notable guests of the kingdom and the diet.
