as a imperial guard player I'm terrified to fight tau as they tend to just mow my ass down......as a chaso marine player I have learned to fear dark elder very very much......and as a tau player I find any sort of melee type force scary as I don't have the numbers to deal with them and I don't use kroot(I play mech. tau)
Just a few minutes ago I found out you can throw frag grenades at invisible enemies... tried that with tactical SM squads against Tau Stealth Teams (who are probably one of the main reasons why some DoW players hate the Tau). It won't kill them very quickly but it'll buy you time to bring in detectors. It's nice finding out these little tricks one by one.
I like Tau....hell I play Tau....I just hate it when my guard have to fight tau
Better yet, have you tried casting Eldritch Storm on them? Perhaps not cost-efficient, but certainly hilarious to see the little buggers getting fried in the midst of their supposed invulnerability...
On a different note, I really hate Death Cult Assassins. Not because they are really threatening - they're more like mosquitoes. Annoying little buggers. The Vindicare guys OTOH are much more of a threat but at least they're cool.
I check into small hotel a few kilometers from Kiev. It is late. I am tired. I tell woman at desk I want a room. She tells me room number and give key. "But one more thing comrade; there is one room without number and always lock. Don't even peek in there." I take key and go to room to sleep. Night comes and I hear trickling of water. It comes from the room across. I cannot sleep so I open door. It is coming from room with no number. I pound on door. No response. I look in keyhole. I see nothing except red. Water still trickling. I go down to front desk to complain. "By the way who is in that room?" She look at me and begin to tell story. There was woman in there. Murdered by her husband. Skin all white, except her eyes, which were red. I tell her I don't give a. Stop the water trickling or give me refund. She gave me 100 ruble credit and free breakfast. Such is life in Moscow
I come from the island of Syros which was under Venice control for much of the Turkish occupation of Greece. In Syros, the population is equally divided in Catholics and Orthodox, and is one of the few places here in Greece where both dogmas co-exist in harmony. In most parts of Greece, Orthodox Christianity is prevalent...pm me if you want me to explain more.
I was born in Athens, but my father is from Syros (he is a Catholic too) and I spent most of my vacarions there. So I claim the parental heritage. Yes, Syros is fascinating place, I recommend it to anyone who would like to come to the Greek islands for vacations. Its for a good reason known as "The Lady of the Aegean Sea".
Anyhow, that's better discussed through PMs methinks, the baleful eye of the mods is everywhere!![]()
