    Default Grapeshot for Elven Ballistas

    OMG. I put Grapeshot for the eagle claw ballistas and it is awesome. Now it is as it should be. A lot of volleys each shoot with range 400, just like the single volley. What do you think?

    How can I modify the special skill of an unit? I want to switch between Grapeshot and Single missile with the eagle claw, just like the empire cannon.
    Anyone knows?

    The grapeshot is a great Idea for the ballistas! Just like in the tabletop

    it works, but it is very ugly.
    for myself i would like to make eagle claw doing exactly the same as dark elf reaper (loading six bolts and firing all at once and then long loading)... but i don't know how.

    We test them... effectiveness eagle claw = effectiveness reaper with 6 shoots...


    you can test them yourself

    4 units of artillery against full army of chaos halberds

    i know i made the tests months ago, but in tabletop they do same abilities, eagle claw should have the same animation.

    mate, i know all of this, and it is been few months that i read you in this forum and your knowlegde of warhammer lore/rules is not contested and it is far superior than mine.
    i just wanted to know "how to do" to give eagler claw same animation as reaper. That is all my dear friend.

    i just can say that you must modif descr_engines compire empire_hellblaster claw and reaper

    Look at this screenshots, notice that you can change the shoot kind

    Shooting six bolts


    Single Shoot


    I don't want to change te animation because I readed some books and the bolts are recharged in "packs" of six, so this is more like the tabletop game.

    I removed the fire animation that you can see in the screenshots.
