    Default An Archer General?

    Thats a first timer for me. Playing WRE in RTW-BI (no mods), I noticed that one of my general had in his unit 41 men ! Then in his first battle I found out that those men were archers not German Imperial Bodygaurds . This is my 3rd campaign in BI but this is the first encounter. Any body had this -I would say- bug? Any knows how and why this is happening?

    i quite like the guy.

    hes there every time i play as WRE. hes quite a powerful figure - has an office too. if you play with huge unit settings, he gets 160 men, thats quite a following.

    Yeah that's pretty funny...I was pretty shocked when i saw that too...Gratianus...I like how one of his traits is a "craven coward." Didn't he go on to be western emperor when Valens' army was whooped at Adrianople?

    He has a unit of 80 archers. Bug.

    Use Borsook's Enhancement Pack to fix it...

    why would you want to fix something so unique?

    there are people who have tried to get their generals to be dismounted for mods, and here one is, even though its accidental.

    i'd like to have my general with a unit of dismounted spearmen.

    I don't mind having an archer general, he is unique after all, be nice if he wasn't a coward though.

    It's not a bug. Just look at the stats "Craven Coward" "terrified by Barbarians" ecc ecc...it's a nice addon I think

    I dont think its a bug at all if you enter descr_strat im pretty sure it has his bodyguard set to archers so if you wanted to you could make them whatever you want. even berserkers!

    With his traits it suits. He would rather shoot at barbarians than get up close in a cavalry charge.

    I like having catafractarii for a general. Then he won't get killed by arrows so easily. And its hard to flank him.
