That tactic is still being used. I think EU troops used it as late as in 1994 in Africa (the country name escapes me for the moment).

speaking of tips yesterday me and galvie confirmed that the Wedgie and Runtrough tricks work perfectly on RS2. im gonna go out on a limb and assume that all tricks work fine so whenever you are up for it gimme a shout on xfire.(Maxajax2)

Speaking of that, we should probably make an Xfire contact list thread so RS2 players can communicate with eachother instantly outside of Hamachi's chat service. Hamachi disables MP trough conventional means on other games so most of us do not have it installed/enabled unless we want to play, and often when we want to play there is a possibility no one is on. xfire would fill the comm gap perfectly.

Actually... the size of the unit is not the only thing that alters in higher unit sizes... Infantry get more staying power, cavalry loses mobility, chariots become close to useless.. the usual stuff...
