Mass Effect 2 Coming to PS3

In case no one heard the news, Mass Effect 2 is coming to the PS3 in January 2011.

So hurray for all you PS3 owners! You'll finally get to experience what PC/360 owners have been talking about over the last year or so.

However, there is no news yet as to whether or not the first game will also be coming to the system. It would seem to not make much sense if it didn't but there hasn't been anything said about it.

I figured it might be but I doubt anyone with a PS3 would be looking at the ME2 thread in the first place, haha

I heard they are trying to do something for the PS3 version that will easily introduce new players to the ME universe. I'm hoping its some sort of 10 minute interactive cut scene where you pick important story choices while it explains ME 1's story and a brief overview of the universe. This way, people can have different walkthroughs from the default version.

I'm really pissed that they announced this the day I finished the campaign on the PC...
