Your generals got the Coward trait all the time, even if all they do is winning.

Impressive empires Romulus. Always cool to see complete dominations. Well done. May I ask if you auto resolve a lot? Or do you just have a lot of time on your hands.

I am not quite that size, but my Macedonian Empire is moving into the end game faze.

So here is what happened since my last post a few pages back. After my war against Dacia I had a few turns of rest and retraining. I was amassing forces in the east for a war against parthia, decided to take out cimbri first. They were down to a few provinces, at war with my allies Sarmatia and losing. My reason for war was to protect my allies (). Cimbri died in like 2 turns. Then it was just the eastern problems left. Ugh, horse archers. I had been prepping new armies just for that, filled with archers, cavalry and pikes.

Here is what the invasion of parthia looked like in the opening move:

Yeah, lots of heavy cavalry there. The battle for Dura Europus was bloody, but I broke through. After that I've been rolling over their captured Seleucid holdings, they've got a second army regrouping in the mountains (can't recall the city name on the top of my head).

But the situation was complicated when Sarmatia decided to backstab me. I was sorta prepared for it, and had lots of reserves in case of that. The army that invaded Parthia was only a third of my full force... Smart move otherwise by Sarmatia, wait until I was busy with parthia and then take that opportunity.

Seleucid also saw their chance, broke alliance with me and invaded. Not that it helped them much, I had enough around to deal with them too. I am about to take their last holding now.

I'm allied with Armenia, Pontus is around with a single settlement. Both will die soon.
    Plans within plans...

Thanks a lot No I didn't auto-resolve much(maybe with some sigle free-people units hanging around my empire). I saw too much defeats after certain chances of victory in such situations that auto-resolves battles made me mad(200 parthians defeat 3 armies with 2500 soldiers) But a lot of time that I have is another thing In Macedon campaign southern africa and arabia are able to be conquered? That's interesting.

Nice one dude but I wouldn't make such long-term plans for conquering. When I usually made such in my head it mostly ends with fighting a nation in opposite side of the world So remember to be coutious

Ok, this time I got back to my old Gaul campaign and made some new conquers. It isn't ended(about 40 provinces), but Rome is almost vanquished and Gaius Julius Caesar is dead There's quite a lot of people in my capital and I was amazed that there's still such a high public order.
My warcry is: When Caesar dies, his head flies! When Romans cry, we smile!

Sorry for posting one after another it seems that when I finally started to be active on the total war forums after being just a player of total war games and mods, it brought me into some writing madness Seems I have to make up some lost time

    i know what you mean

My roman campaign don`t have any progress, im just building my cities in italy until get good taxes and strong forces (in cities 1-4 units, in forts, full legion(s), but only 2 legions currently. one in cisilia, another one in italy, Hannibal is defeated so i don`t need more than that) until i get Imperial Reforms. Then i go conguer Gaul, my city in spain is in trouble, but i fight to the last man!

Geez is it me or 0 turn campaigns progress at very faster pace than 1 turn? 40 turns later and you're already master of Italy.

Btw, Very High taxes? Are you sure about that or you just dont care about the traits your generals get?
