Fighting at river crossings is a way to erase tons of enemys of the map, and it presents wonderfull pictures.

One unit of free men peltast against Spartans. Also how many hitmarkers do soldiers have? In Greek Extended Mod (XGM) there is a choice to have one hitmarker. I used my missle units (One Spartan archers and 2 peltast) and I only killed 4 men of Athenian Hoplites. Is it two hitmarkers or is it just that their defense is awsome?
i never thought this would happen but the Seleucids beat parthia

Attacking most units straight ahead with any type of Light missiles will do little damage, however raining down on them while they are running/Charging does more damage, the best way is to attack from the sides or better yet the rear, this is one of my favourite tactics, once battle is joined, I Send my ranged units if possible behind the rage of battle, where the enemy is, and hit them from behind, it can do extensive morale damage and kill lots of enemies regardless of the type of missile, slingers excel at this tactic but they need time to break the enemy, unlike javelinmen, such as peltasts, Who can easily reduce a unit with the missiles they carry, however they run out fast, when ammo runs Out I Charge them
