Yeah. Greek Levy Pikemen. Sadly they disappear after advancements in Marian technology. Fortunately I will take steps to ensure no marius will upset this new military order

Ok, so apparently siege escalation is all the rage?
A bunch of Romans armed with modern long pikes and small shields fight the backward greeks who have large shields and little swords
The latest tactics from Phillip of Macedon were employed. Pikemen and heavy horse. Rome has truly entered the age of modern arms and tactics
So guys today I was in Mtskheta, the same one in RSII map, it is near Tbilisi (capital of Georgia) and here is a panorama pick of it, if it's interesting
"An unexpected death is a death, an intended death - immortality"
(c) Vardan Sparapet, before the Battle of Avarayr
My -epic- showdown with Hannibal. Note the date.
The explosive conclusion. See how far away all my pikemen are...
A battle that will stand the testament of time, and affect the lives of everyone is the known world.
Actually it was rather underwhelming. :/
The only self-discipline you need is to finish your sandwiches
this looks so mutch beter than R2

bosporian auxilary infantry supported by batavian cavalry
and my new bridge tactic, tyer them with spearmen at the bridge, hit them with all missiles you have, retreat when they are almost at breaking point, let them come to the second line and then sandwish them with cav charge, instant rout

Do I have to manually activate the bloom to make the game look like the image below?
Yes, over the launcher. There's the option "Special Bloom Effects". You can choose between "Light", "Dark" or an personal Bloom. I like Dark Bloom, because it gives a movie feeling.
How do you guys take screenshots like these? UI-less and stuff :O and my god they're amazing screenies
If you have Vista, Windows 7 or 8 call up your snipping tool. If you need more info, goggle 'how to take a PC screenshot.'
However, if you intend to take screenies of your own game you'll likely prefer the free version of the program, Fraps, which will allow you to take screenshots and record 30 sec videos.
As for UI-less and stuff, open up your RS2 Launcher preference and find minimal UI. Other stuff is there too, but don't change anything if you're unsure of its effect in game.
Edit: If your game struggles with FPS, know then that Fraps does use a few FPS while running in the background.

Loyal and competent men in command of the legions. We don't want anybody getting above their station and getting ideas
Pila, like many things aren't quite up to snuff against Form Phalanx
The Romans used two units of Velites and several full cohorts of pila to kill* about 11 pikemen.
*I should note that they all made a full recovery after the battle
