Nope, they don't have any armies, i think they bought it, but still it's really strange, i was at war against them and when i took their original Capital i thought that i had finally won, and then this

Oh man that poor guy at the bottom... he probably lived though, lethality being what it is in this mod. And surprisingly, the Roman seems to have gotten past the left side of his shield, very odd...
Love retinues like this one, really permits a decent amount of roleplay to be possible. Made a lot of public order plummit when I retracted citizenship for regions under the influence of this governor
One does wonder just how many thousands of "Royal Peltasts" the Ptolemics have... are they like the Immortals or something

A unit of slingers is 160 men, with 30 shots each, or 4800 shots. A mere 20% shot-to-kill ratio will give you 1000.
Besides, a decent amount of it is probably those nearly unarmored Nubian Spearmen or something, two units is nearly 500 men already.
Nothing says Sparta like having tons of lambas all over your gear.

Oh yeah, probably a dying Roman complained that he was dying because of a stone shot by an effeminate slinger.

The Romans are rather outnumbered though...

I think i have a bug in my game. The expansion of Rome has been halted and turned around as they're getting their arses kicked by the greeks. Oh excuse, Rome was in control of all of Greece.
Probably not a bug but just Greece kicking their butts...

Not a "full" empire shot, but it amused me...
Boy, the Boii seem mighty annoyed about something. Do you smell smoke?
(Cimbri, Dacia, Armenia, Ptolemics all pretty close to death, hah)
update: they must be furious that I'm burning everything

A defeat?! How is this possible!
Wait a moment, what is going on here...
What a stupid garrison force. Though they were being used just to keep public order.
A heroic Roman victory!!! They had roman citizenship so it counts.

What the hell? Greek legionary pikemen?
